Trudog scored his first underground hit in the summer of 2004 with the release of his EP 'THE NOTORIOUS HOMO THUG.' Booming in gay bars from the West Village to South Beach, 'HOMO THUG' quickly became an anthem for the Down Low phenomenon. The Village Voice credited Trudog for remixing the Closet and Time Out NY said that Trudog is turning hip hop on its head.

Now Trudog is back on the scene with his first full length CD 'Booty Ain't Got No Face'. His new joint, which offers up-tempo hip-hop grooves, well crafted stories and zany hooks, could easily be the party CD of the year.

Trudog admits, 'It took me three years to produce this CD because I wanted to take time out to develop as an artist. I didn't want to release yet another rap CD laced with profanity. I wanted to deliver humorous universal stories with some depth. I also had specific people I wanted to work with, who are at the top of the underground music scene, and I wanted to make sure they could all participate, despite their busy schedules.'

Russ Spiegel is a Jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. He was born and raised California, but moved to Europe as a teenager where he quickly established himself as an in-demand musician, touring the Continent with various ensembles, performing at well-known Jazz festivals, and appearing on numerous television and radio shows. In 2001, Russ returned to the US, settling in New York City where his music career continued to flourish. Most recently, he has been very busy with his solo guitar performances in support of his numerous CDs. He also leads The Russ Spiegel Jazz Orchestra, a 17-piece band featuring Russ's compositions and arrangements, which will be releasing its most recent CD, 'Transplants' worldwide in early 2009. Russ is also a commissioned composer who has written music for film, TV, musicals, and has spent the last four years working as the on-set music instructor for the hit Nickelodeon TV show, 'The Naked Brothers Band.'

In 2009, Russ will be touring the world with The Russ Spiegel Jazz Orchestra in support of 'Transplants', continuing his work with Nickelodeon, and writing musical scores for several upcoming TV shows and Independent Films.
